1. Eastman House, International Museum of Photography and Film

    Corporate identity redesign project for the Eastman House, International Museum of Photography and Film.
    Located in Rochester, NY in the mansion built by the father of popular photography, Eastman House guides the world’s understanding of the impact of Photography and Motion Pictures on our group culture and individual perceptions.

    Selected at Vignelli Center for Design Studies as best project of Rochester Institute of Technology’s Master Designers Workshop 2011.

  2. A hole cut in a surface is the key that makes photography happen, it is photography in its most basic form.

    A hole punched through every piece of stationery and through every other corporate identity application is effectively used as an abstract logo for the Eastman House.

  3. Materials represented here were produced as part of the July 2011 Master Designers Workshop organized by the Vignelli Center for Design Studies at Rochester Institute of Technology.
    The name George Eastman House, International Museum of Photography and Film, any derivative of that name and images from the Museum’s collections are used with the Museum’s limited permission for this non-commercial educational exercise.
